Stan Rowett, M.A., M.F.T., has over 36 years of clinical experience in the field of chemical dependency, and has been a clini­cal member of the American Association of Marriage, Family and Child Therapists since 1975. His professional career includes working in a social model recovery house, managing the North Santa Barbara County outpatient services, directing the acute hospital inpatient and outpatient programs at Santa Barbara Cottage Care Center, and serving as Clinical Supervisor for Glendale Adventist Medical Center Alcohol and Drug Services. Stan also served on the faculties of the University of California Santa Barbara and the University of California Santa Cruz Extension Programs. Now semi-retired, Stan is currently in private practice and serves on the Santa Barbara City College Alcohol and Drug Advisory Board.
